  After spending several months searching for a house in the OBX with a seemingly impossible list of parameters - and losing a reservation at the LAST minute - we stumbled upon Barnes Too via Carolina Shores Vacation Rentals, and I'm so glad things worked out they did. Not only was CSVR able to meet ALL of our parameters, but they were patient in kind in doing so.
  
  Barnes Too is a GORGEOUS house - we were all shocked that dogs were allowed in such a nice house! Not only is the house in immaculate condition, but the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked (in general, not even JUST for a rental), the living room is HUGE, the views are amazing, the hot tub is great (only wish we'd been there during the summer to see the pool!), the garage is great for loading and unloading, the elevator is SUPER convenient and there's even a pool table!!!
  
  Hands down one of the best New Year's Eves any of us have ever had - we're hoping to make it a tradition at Barnes Too!

  Beautiful house, nice location, everything we needed and more ! Great weather helped our stay, but this spacious house was great for a family of ten. Amenities of bikes, cornhole, beach stuff, etc. were great.

  Barnes Too Was a perfect vacation rental for a family with six teens to entertain! The location to the beach was very accessible,the pool was used every evening, with a trip to the hot tub a follow up. The sitting room was turned into a day spa, nails and facials by appointment. Just a great family place to eat meals, watch tv, swim and play. Thanks!

  We enjoyed the house location very much. Amenities included were fabulous. I know the house was new to the market and wanted to recommend that more instructions and phone numbers be placed inside the elevator. There was a small problem with it and from inside the elevator, even though there was a phone, you were without helpful information. Also, the perception associated with an elevator is handicap access. None of the bathroom doors were wide enough to accomodate a wheelchair.

  Our family had an AWSOME week @ Barnes Too! We enjoyed all of the amenities of the house including the pool, game room, outside shower,ELEVATOR,hot tub,TV's(including the new TV that Mr. Barnes himself installed), Short walk to the beach,laundry room, decks for coffee,coctails,&sunsets,fruit basket,extra fridge downstairs.Perhaps there could have been more pots&pans in the kitchen & vent fans in all the bathrooms. We will return!

  My family and I had a wonderful family vacation. The house was great. It had bikes for family biking. It had a hot tub for great relaxing. The pool was refreshing after a day at the beach. The deck was wonderful for reading and chatting. We couldn't have asked for more.

  We had previously rented from a different rental company. We had chosen a house based on proximity to our favorite local restaurant as opposed to choosing a particular company. The owner of that house switched rental companies. Our fist contact with Carolina Shores was a letter imforming us of the change in management and offering a discount on our next visit. When I called, Robin let me know that the previous rental house was not available in the off-season. She suggested we try a nearby property. Barnes Too was a perfect choice. Pets allowed, near the beach, walking distance to several restaurants, and all the space we could want. We will certainly return for our next vacation.
  Check in/out were simple. Our questions were addressed in a professional yet friendly manner.

  Good place for a few familes to enjoy with accomodations for a moderate sized group. Easy walk to the beach. Well stocked and clean. The rates were very reasonable and we would rent this home again if we returned to the OBX

  The house was GREAT! We really loved the house. Best vaction in a long time. There is one thing that need's to be added, that is TV's in the bedrooms. The ocean view was great and the rocking chair's was a big hit for setting on the deck. If the rain and
  cold front had not come in we would have loved too stay longer.
