The house was spacious. We loved the fact that there were so many bathrooms and showers. The kitchen and living room upstairs was great. We could all be together in that open space. The balcony was also very nice and had lots of chairs. The pool was clean and the kids loved it. The only complaint I have is about cockroaches. We saw one the first night, we didn’t think it was a big deal because we know that they are quite common in southern coastal towns, but we kept seeing them every evening. One night we saw 5. We still had a good time at this rental. It was a good 10 minute walk from the beach. It was a bit too much if we wanted to bring a cooler and chairs. We ended up going to the beach with our car every day and using the designated parking area, which was about 10 minutes away by car. The beach was beautiful. There were plenty of restaurants. We played mini putt and went to see the wild horses. Our teenagers went Jets skiing, this is a good location for young families to relax. Our older teenagers and young adults would’ve preferred to have more attractions for them in the evenings, but still enjoyed their vacation.

Carpet was very diri tty and a few bugs were found in the house. Kitchen could be better stocked. Also had a problem with the sheets delivered on the first day but that was fixed quickly. The driveway on this property is awfully steep.Also, the hot tub needs steps. Older adults could not use it, which was a big disappointment. Won't be staying here again.

Very nice roomy home with everything we needed for a relaxing spring break week. Watching the sun rise over the ocean was a real highlight, as was seeing the wild horses nearby.

The house is so much nicer than the pictures show. The space of this house is very large and the pool was definitely a fan favorite. The only cons I can possibly think of is that the Jacuzzi tub in the 3rd floor bathroom did not work and also the place could use a larger grill, other than that the house is PERFECT.

There were many good aspects of this rental including the layout of the house the pool was the highlight of our stay very clean. The house is in general need of some attention the carpets need professional cleaned, along with fabric on the furniture many visible stains. We had to put our own batteries in a couple of the remotes as the batteries were dead and it is in dire need of a new coffee pot the location is good for the four-wheel-drive beach very close to grocery stores and shopping which was nice neighborhood was very quiet I would agree with the reviews that I read prior to renting this house is good but with some much-needed attention could be a really great rental.

Our family of 15 enjoyed our stay at Seascapade! The home was nicely decorated and felt very warm and cozy. We loved sitting on the top deck enjoying the ocean views and loved hanging out at the large pool that got all day sun! I would recommend a larger grill and a second fridge! Overall we loved our stay!

Nice house. Lots of bedrooms. Pool and hot tub were clean. Driveway was very steep, but you could always park in the spots in lot at the bottom of the driveway. Would liked to have been closer to the beach,but booking later than most, took what we could. But again, still a very nice house and amenities.

We were satisfied with our accomodations. The only issue I thought the pool maintenance could improve, cleaning at least once during our stay would be helpful and we did have trouble with the blowers that persisted.

This house is wonderfully suited for all types of families. What we loved best were all the little extra added items; great selection of books, tons of utensils in the kitchen, plenty of dishes and cups. Our family included nine adults and 3 teenagers and we never felt cramped for space. The home is close to the grocery store and shopping and a short distance to public beach parking.<br/>As with any rental there were some items that were in need of repair but nothing major. Overall great experience and would rent here again.

We enjoyed staying at this house. 8 adults and 6 children under six fit perfectly. The pool was our favorite part! The pool was big enough for us all to enjoy and it was a perfect size. The house is a quick walk to the beach, and from the top deck you can see the ocean! We would definitely stay here again.

The realty company was very nice and helpful. There were a few problems with the property. Many of the lights in the house did not work, at least one or two on each floor. Also, there were spiders everywhere in the home. Lastly, the furniture and overall condition of the home was mediocre. It was obvious the owners had not updated the home in many years. The grill is very small. We loved the pool and the deck space. The layout of the home is great and there are plenty of bathrooms. Overall, we had a good time. If there were a few updates and a little care put into the house it would be great. We would definitely recommend this property if the owners made upgrades.

Wonderful house. We had 13 people fit comfortably in it. Close to the beach and stores. Nice pool and hot tub. It was our first stay in the OBX. We would definitely stay again in this house.

My family and I have stayed at the rental before. We hadn't vacationed together since 2004. It was refreshing to come back to OBX and have the same wonderful experience that we remembered. It was a more pleasurable experience because of the added editions to the area. We didn't have to travel out to Kill Devil Hills/Nags Head area for anything, except Walmart and Dollar Tree. smile. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The area wasn't crowded. The seascapade was truly our home away from home. The only upset was that the wifi connection didn't work the last two days we were there...but that was due to an overall outage in the area. Overall, great experience...great vacation...and the company's concern for us...great, especially Paula!

The building could use a paint Job. The barbecue grill is small could be much larger for a property sleeping 16.The carpets need to be professionaly cleaned on a regular would be helpful if there were a folding chair in the bedrooms.We did enjoy the property and would stay here again with consideration of the comments above.!!!!
