This marvelous vacation home is beautifully decorated and features expansive wrap around decks in the true “Outer Banks” style. Along with great ocean views, “So Far So Good” boarders on the Cape Hatteras National Seashore Park and Public beach access is a few houses south at Jay Street or 176 yards away at June Street.

Spend your evenings relaxing in the soothing hot tub while being amazed of how clearly you can see the wondrous constellations overhead.

Very nice house and comfortable for the 10 of us. Like staying in South Creek Acres with ability to walk safely on side road. close walk to the pool and to feed the turtles! Would like a grill; we had to rent one. Also would like a couple of metal jelly roll pans. Great beach chairs and a wagon to carry everything to beach!

This is the second year our group of family and friends stayed at So Far So Good. We absolutely love the OBX as it has something for everyone. Excursions ranged from off shore fishing and parasailing to shopping and of course THE BEACH! Wildlife sightings included the horses of Corolla, turtles, dolphins, and an array of fish. The house offered great family time as we all gathered for meals, hot tub time, and enough room to spread out for board games in the kitchen and corn hole in the backyard.

My family and I had the best time in the OBX! We looooved this house. It had a great set up for relaxing and cooking with the family. The Master bed was super comfortable and had a beautiful sound side view out the back windows. The hot tub was right outside the master bedroom sliders. You can watch the sunset right from the hot tub! The front balcony had a nice beach view and every morning the whole upstair was bright and sunny! The beach access was across the street and to the right maybe less than a 5 minute walk. Super easy to get too. The house also had a convenient beach wagon and lots of chairs and boogie boards. 7-11 was right down the street and Food Lion was only about 10 mins away. There is a little waterway out back that had tons of turtles. The kids loved that! Overall, we had a great experience at "So Far So Good"! Thank you for the good times!!!

We were a little hesitant when we booked because we didn't see any recent reviews. Now that we've been here, we're thinking it was to keep this gem a secret! :) <br/>We loved it here! Nothing fancy, but all the comforts of home, and then some! It was clean, we had everything we needed for a great stay. The beach things left to use (chairs, umbrella, wagon) was a huge help. The location was perfect- we enjoyed the ocean view from the balconies and the short walk to the amazing beach. Close to everything but quiet. The hot tub was great (it looks smaller in the picture than it really is!), there were plenty of beds and space for everyone! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our first family vacation in 4 years, my husband, 2 daughters, son-in-law and 4 grandchildren. Our oldest grandchild is heading off to college and realistically this will probably be the last time for a while that we will all be able to coordinate schedules. My husband is from NC and had spent many enjoyable summers at the OB. This week was perfect right down to the cooperative weather, sunshine every day with 80-90 degree temps, a lovely place on the beach road with easy access to the beach, a community pool right next door and an on-site hot tub. Thanks for the memories.

My family had a great three generation gathering. There was eleven of us ranging in age from Senior Citizen down ten month old. The house was just right to accomodate all of us. It would have been very handy to have a combination play & sleep facility for our youngest.

We had a wonderful week! We enjoyed the spacious living room and kitchen but the knives weren't very sharp and maybe leave smaller cutting boards. Also, a lounge chair or two on the upper deck would have been nice. Ice maker didn't generate ice fast enough and the freezer door popped open when closing the fridge door. It was worse when there was weight on the freezer door so we didn't use the freezer door shelf. We had a great week and would consider your services again. Delightful staff with quick responses to emails and calls. Thanks for a lovely vacation!

We were a group of ten including 3 couples and 4 children, girl 13 and boys 7, 9 & 9. The bed arrangement worked perfectly for our group. The house provided plenty of space and was airy and bright with many large windows. We found it clean and well equipped. Views from the decks were great. Boys enjoyed the many turtles in the canal out back and all enjoyed the hot tub. The community pool and free beach access were just a short walk. Parking space was available at the beach access as well as a shower. Nice not to have to lug chairs and cooler all the way to the beach. We would definitely rent this property again for a family vacation.

Great space. Worked well for group of about 10. Close to beach (easy walk). Nice views from the porch. Only cons were that some appliances like ice maker were poor quality and there was no grill.

Great vacation rental, clean and close to the beach & pool. The only issue we had was the coffee pot would spit out beans & the baby gate needs to be updated. Other than that we had such a fun time!
