This condo was convenient to everything! Five minute walk to the beach. Grocery stores, restaurants, Wright Brothers Memorial, and Jockey's Ridge within 15 minutes. Pools were great when the ocean was too cold. Definitely recommend.

Quiet, relaxing, nothing more needed. The condo was a perfect fit for my wife and kids. Only recommendation would be to add somehow a community laundry room...

We recently enjoyed a 13 day stay in the OBX. The property was very nice, comfortable, walking distance to the beach, grocery store and some restaurants. We arrived during Tropical Storm Hermine on the Saturday and when I called guest services for an update on the impact of the storm and if feasible to access the island, I was greeted with reassurance, professionalism and accurate information about the situation. We were lucky, upon arrival our hydro had been restored and the roads were in good condition. A very nice unit, great pool, we would definitely rent this unit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Waynes. Perfect layout for a small family. Very convenient to the beach and local attractions. Loved the pools as well. Only critique was the TV and DVD set-up. The TVs should be modernized. No cable was provided from the TV to the DVD, making the DVD useless. Thankfully we had great weather so we weren't indoors much but this should really be fixed so that guests can watch movies, etc. Thank you to Carolina Shores for the great service!

We had a wonderful time. The property is well maintained and AC worked very well. We stayed last week in July and it was very hot and working AC was very important. Beach was not far and if you want to take a car, there is plenty of parking space. Property is located in very quite neighborhood and the people using the pool were very nice and quite. We would like to come and stay here again.

We always liked to stay at the Banks.
We've stayed at Waynes and other condos and at other condos in the Banks. We miss the hot tub a lot. We always love having a pool to go to. One thing that could have been better was the air conditioner. We suggest upgrading the current air conditioner. The air conditioner there now could not keep up with the 100 degree weather. If it weren't for the ceiling fans, it would have been unbearable.

Glad you enjoyed the pool! The a/c situation was tough on the entire beach as we hit the 100 degree mark so early in June and we apologize it wasn't cooling you enough. The apartment was in great condition, perfect for a family of 4, both pools and hot tub were working and there were two grills next to the apartment. The beach, national parks/monuments, surfing, hang gliding and weather were great too. Public beach access is a little limited, but we just used the hotel's! I would not recommend the apartment for children around 6 or younger because of the steep stairs, more like a ladder, to the 2 beds upstairs.

Very clean and good location to beach access. This property is for one family on a budget. First day we arrived one of the pools was out of order but it was then reopened within two days. Three days into our vacation the air conditioner froze and it had to be shut off overnight. Maintenance arrived first thing in the morning and fixed right away. All the staff was friendly.

We had a great vacation. Our only complaints was that one of pools was not open, the other was there wasn't any grills set up until the last full day of our vacation. Other than that the unit we stayed in was perfect for us and the beach was wonderful.

Hi, thanks for giving me the opportunity to give you this. One comp-laint was that we did not find information where the public beach access was. We found it but not easily. Also, the swivel/rocking chair was dangerously moving. Finally, the top drawer of chest of drawers immediately to left of front foor was a mess and did not close.
Overall, this was a place we consider coming back to next year and then renting two cottages, one for son and daughter in law.

Everything was clean when we got there, we only had to drive a minute to the grocery store, the beach was in walking distance and restaurants/shopping was all within a five mile radius of us. We will definitely be back to stay at this location.
