Just 700 feet to the popular beaches of Corolla along with all the shopping, dining, historic attractions and all the fun you came to the Outer Banks to enjoy.

The fresh renovations include new flooring, vanity, faucet and toilet in the mid-level master bedroom, an updated top level bathroom with a 6 x 6 shower, new King and Queen mattresses and all flat screen televisions are smart TVs which are designed for your streaming enjoyment. The kitchen has had a total make-over and looks amazing!

We stayed at Summer Breeze Too in June and had a great week. We have been vacationing in the Outer Banks for 20 years and have not rented many houses that have been as clean as this one. The kitchen has everything you could want and the owners provided beach chairs and pool floats. We had a rainy week but were entertained by the books, games and many puzzles that are provided too. We will definitely be renting again.

This home met the needs for our family of 7, including 3 teenage children. It was spacious with a nice extra living room with a large TV. The kitchen was well equipped and overall the house was clean and well maintained. The pool area was great with quality chairs and furniture. I would highly recommend this home.

WH1022 was the perfect home for our summer family vacation with the intention of enjoying the house ammenities in an inviting neighborhood and enjoying the beach. The house was very clean, organized, spacious, and everything we needed. We're a moderately active couple with very active, athletic, older-teen kids ranging in age from 16-22. We rented bikes for the week and used those to visit the Corolla Village, but spent most of our days at Carova Beach or the one near the house. Evenings were in the pool and hot tub, with a stop in the family room to binge watch OBX before going to bed. We enjoyed morning coffee in the side porch hammock. For us who love the outdoors and less crowded venues, this was perfect for us. Thank you Summer Breeze Too for the perfect OBX vacation 2023.

WH1022- Life's Porpoise is a nice unit with easy access to the walkway to the beach. The recent updates are nice and overall the house is in good shape. The property management company is NOT so great. Almost every company on the shore has remote check in. This company makes you check in at their location in Duck. This is in the FINE print of the agreement. This is SUPER inconvenient- If you get there early and the unit isnt ready. You have to hang around in Duck, after hours of waiting in traffic. We will be looking for a better management company in the future.

We loved our stay and we recommend April's Cottage. It is a pleasurable 3 block walk to the beach on the beautiful new boardwalk beach access located directly across from the house. The beach and the dunes are beautiful particularly at sunrise and sunset and a photographers delight. Unfortunately, due to the luck of the draw, the ocean conditions were strange as we hit 2 days of unusually cold water followed by 2 days of warm water, then cold again and warm yet again. The "refreshing" water with the air temperatures in the 90's was not a huge deterrent from enjoying the ocean. The warm water however was a fishing bonanza as each wave brought in huge schools of blues, tracked by diving sea eagles, gulls, and dolphins. In conclusion we had an excellent time, found the house clean, the amenities more than adequate, and the management helpful and friendly. The map directions could have been better as Herring Street comes right through to Ocean Drive. One improvement that I would recommend is to better drain the pooled water from the outdoor shower and hose score the cement with a concrete blade perhaps) and laying some cement slabs below the fishing table rather than the sand that is there now. Have a great stay at April Cottage ..... WE DID!!!!

Great house and loved the convenient walkway across the street that took us straight to the beach! The house was very spacious! We enjoyed the pizza from Tomato Patch, running the 5K at the lighthouse and Jockeys Ridge State Park sand dunes and gorgeous sunset. Will definitely come again!

This neighborhood is the best location in Corolla. The house is right across the street from the beach walkway. We didn't need a pool - enjoyed the beach and other water sports close by. <br/>Plenty of space for our family of Six (6). Made wonderful memories before our children scatter for the coming year. Again, this house is the best location on Corolla Dr.

We stayed 7/2-7/9. Once we got past the traffic leading up to Duck, the ride to Corolla was a breeze and our vacation went uphill from there. April Cottage was perfect for our family of 10. Nice layout and clean. It didn't matter that we didn't use the Jacuzzi and there is no pool. The cute walkway to the beach is right across the street and we spent all our time on the beautiful beach. Great area to ride bikes and walk. Easy access to food stores. Saw 4th of July fireworks from the comfort of the house.

We had a lovely experience in the Outer Banks at the April Cottage. Check-in was a breeze and on arrival, the property was clean, spacious and as described. The location just across from the private beach walk was very convenient. The kitchen appliances were older but maintained, and certainly adequate for the purposes. Overall, we really did enjoy our stay and have no real complaints at all.

This was a nice property - about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. The house was nice but in need of some renovation. It was generally clean,except for the floors, when we arrived. The sheets provided for the king size bed were not big enough. Some of the appliances need to be replaced (dishwasher, dryer). The house is spacious and has a separate room for playing board games. Overall I was satisfied but it wouldn't take much on the part of the propery owner and/or manager to make it much better.

Thanks for sharing Aprils Cottage! The house was perfect, well stocked and as beautiful as the pictures! The location was absolutely perfect directly across from a beach access so we walked out of the house onto a safe walkway to the beach! My 12-13-15 and 17 year old kids enjoyed the freedom to walk back and forth and I was comfortable with sending them! I am definitely coming back to this house and whale head beach! Would highly recommend this home to others!

It was quite good. We had a plumbing problem (toilet clogged), and the after-hour-service told us we had to wait until the next day. In the end, we drove to the hardware store, and we solved the problem ourselves.

Bonne grande maison très bien équipée (électronique et cuisine). La maison est un peu négligée (la peinture du balcon, le four et le terrain) mais rien de majeur et ca ne nous à pas empêcher de passer de belles vacances ! La maison était relativement propre.

Home was functional and spacious for a large family however furnishings were dated and landscaping was completely overgrown with weeds. Location was really nice with a beautifully landscaped walking path across the street from the home and just a few blocks to the beach.
