Owning Carolina Shores Vacation Rentals is something I never take for granted. What started as an opportunity to be part of the vacation rental industry has grown into a passion for serving homeowners, guests, and our Outer Banks community.
Over the years, I've learned that successful property management isn't just about reservations and maintenance—it's about trust. Every home has a family behind it, and every guest is making memories that will last a lifetime. I believe homeowners deserve a management company that communicates honestly, cares for their investment, and treats every property with the same attention and respect I would give my own.
My greatest inspiration is my daughter, Madison. She has cerebral palsy, and watching her determination to overcome obstacles has changed the way I see life. She reminds me every day that patience, kindness, resilience, and celebrating even the smallest victories can make all the difference. Those lessons don't stay at home—they guide how I lead our company, support our team, and care for our homeowners and guests.
In my free time I enjoy spending quality time with Madison, shopping, going to the movies, traveling, swimming, and reading.

Natia Patterson
I was born in Nags Head, NC and raised in Manteo, NC, and I have never lived anywhere else. This place is my home, and I know I’ll be here for the rest of my life because my family is here.
As a Reservation Agent, I enjoy helping visitors experience the beauty of Outer Banks. There’s something special about sharing the place I love with others and making sure they have the best stay possible. From the stunning sunrises over the Atlantic to the breathtaking sunsets on the sound, there is nothing quite like life on the coast. Outer Banks is full of history, charm, and adventure. The friendly, laid-back atmosphere makes it a special place to live and visit.
Family is everything to me. I’m married and a proud mother of 6! Four boys, two girls, and we have an addition that we added to our family nearly 9 years ago, a dog named Panda. I love cooking and spending quality time with my family and the people that I love. Whether we’re gathered around the dinner table, enjoying a beach day, or just soaking in the simple joys of island life, those moments mean the most to me.
The Outer Banks isn’t just where I live-it’s who I am, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Tonya Duncan
Hi, my name is Tonya Duncan, and I have been blessed to call the Outer Banks home since 2014. I moved here from Kentucky to be closer to my mother, and over the years this beautiful place has truly become home.
I am also the proud mother of a wonderful 7-year-old son, Gabriel, who is my whole world and my greatest joy. Music has always been one of my passions, you can usually find me singing. I am grateful to be part of the Lighthouse Church family in Kitty Hawk, where I feel surrounded by love and support.
I have worked with Carolina Shores as a Reservation Agent for almost two years, and from the beginning, it has felt like being part of a family. I truly love what I do. There is something so special about helping guests find the perfect vacation home and knowing that I may play a small part in creating memories they will carry with them forever. I also cherish the relationships I build with our homeowners and guests along the way.
Whether I am helping families plan their Outer Banks getaway or spending time with my son, I try to lead with kindness, gratitude, and heart—because to me, family, connection, and making meaningful memories are what matter most.
