South Nags Head is a seven-mile stretch forever protected from commercialization.

South Nags Head is situated along the southern tip of the town of Nags Head. It is bordered on the east by the Atlantic Ocean with long, wide beaches, and flanked on the west by the Cape Hatteras National Seashore parkland. There is one fishing pier and South Nags Head is just minutes away from the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, which is perfect for charter boat enthusiasts!

Many of the vacation homes have both ocean and sound views and some even have views of the nearby Bodie Island Lighthouse and Pea Island Wildlife Refuge. South Nags Head is a great area for biking, walking or just hanging out. Convenient to Roanoke Island, Oregon Inlet and Pirate’s Cove Marina, yet still close to shopping, area attractions, and family activities.
