The OBX Towne Banks Marathon and Half Marathon is the oldest continuously running road race in the outer banks. The course is fast and flat which provides the perfect track for those who are looking for a new personal record or are just starting to run marathons. Participants get to enjoy all the natural beauty the banks have to enjoy.
Don't feel like running? That's okay! Spectators line the course to cheer on those running.
There is also a post-race celebration that will feature live music, entertainment, classic southern barbeque (free for runners) and an amazing beer garden for those of age.
