Bring your jet ski or boat and launch directly from the community boat ramp and then tie up at the docking area in front of your vacation home. Spend the day splashing in the community pool, swimming in the canal or just enjoying the sun on the decks with a good book.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us. We stay in Collington Harbor every year. <br/>The beds were comfortable but seem more like full size rather than queen.The televisions were difficult to use. But overall it is a very nice place.

Enjoyable stay, property listing was very accurate and properly described what the home had to offer. Kids enjoyed the access to the canal and even used the kayaks to paddle over to the club house swimming pool (around a 15 minute ride). Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for the six of us and dog (very dog friendly). Location is quiet and neighbors are very friendly. The only drawback was some road construction on the main road out to Collington, we experienced some minor delays getting to/from beach but by the looks of the progress, construction should be completed in a few weeks. BTW, if you plan to eat at the Collington Cafe, make reservations days in advance, they book up quickly.

We loved the recently renovated floors, deck, and countertop and that the homeowner has taken care of the property and made it a comfortable space for families to enjoy. This is our first time staying in Colington Island and had to get used to the area but gated community is friendly with a mis of locals and rental properties. The facilities are great with pool, private sound side beach, and park where you can overlook the beautiful sound. A plus was that the home allows a dog and our’s made friends with local pups on daily walks. The dock overlooking the canal made it accessible to launch a kayak. The home felt private and safe with no concerns in leaving our two kayaks by driveway as most folks in community own a boat or kayaks. Our kids enjoyed the reclining chairs when watching television and the kitchen was properly equipped for a family of 5. Highly recommend for families and wound consider booking in future.

This house is a great location to be able to experience everything you would want in an OBX vacation. The community it resides in is wonderful, and the access to the sound from the backyard canal makes it a great start for water sporting activities. The interior was clean and had all the comforts you would ask for including a dual reclining couch perfect for recharging after a day in the sun. I would definitely stay here again.

We had never stayed in Collington before but enjoyed it so much. The cottage was clean and updated and we loved the location of it on the canal. It was also very quiet. We appreciate the opportunity to stay in this cottage.

Perfect space for our large family. The bedrooms are super comfy with lots of space! Clean space with a great deck and the necessities for cooking large dinners. It is about 10-15 min drive from the beaches in Kitty Hawk/ KDH, so be prepared to get in the car. However, it’s a nice gated community that’s really quiet. Will definitely be back!

We had such a great time! It was especially nice because we could bring our dog Brandy. We brought our boat and could put in at the community ramp and dock behind the house. We were able to go out fishing every day. Can’t wait to come back.
